Build with World
A social platform where the same interactive objects work in a chat, an application and a world.
Three authorities. Many presentations.
Users carry identity. Worlds organize communities. Pages provide permissioned content and services. Versioned widgets present those Pages wherever they are embedded.
This handbook describes the system we are building and the implementation that exists today. Every reference distinguishes local prototypes, existing service APIs and planned contracts.
Try the current foundation
The widget playground contains chatV1, navigation, a content shelf and the six toolbar sections. Open a chat inside itself, attach another widget and switch Pages without losing the active draft.
The playground stores messages in this browser only. It is not signed into world.page and does not post to a live community.
Current delivery
- Implemented locally: ten widget types, recursive composition, shared Page snapshots, bounded host admission and an inset bottom-toolbar composer.
- Existing service: account sign-in, communities, Studio projects, messages and immutable media delivery. These remain legacy APIs during reconstruction.
- Next: authenticated World/Page services, capability enforcement, resource-residency stress tests and incremental Muncheez widget ports.
